Block Paved Driveway, Pathways and Patio Transformation

Henson Surfacing was recently asked to transform the driveway, pathways and patio areas around a bungalow, where the existing paving had become increasingly uneven and difficult to navigate.

Several of the paving slabs had lifted over time, creating numerous trip hazards around the property. The client wanted a safer, more level surface that would make the outdoor areas easier to access while also improving the overall appearance of the home.

Creating Safer, More Accessible Outdoor Areas

After discussing the available options, the client chose brindle block paving laid in a traditional herringbone pattern, finished with a contrasting charcoal border.

The new design creates a smart, defined finish while providing a much smoother and more practical surface across the driveway, pathways and patio. By replacing the uneven slabs and worn surfaces, the project has made it far easier for the client to move safely around the outside of the property.

The completed block paving has also updated the entire feel of the bungalow, creating a more welcoming, attractive and cohesive exterior.
