Road Repairs for Shared Residential Access – Leasowes Road, Offenham, Vale of Evesham
Projects
For this community-led project on Leasowes Road in Offenham, Henson Surfacing were appointed by a group of local residents to address long-standing potholes and surface deterioration along a shared residential road.

After decades of wear and tear, the condition of the roadway had reached a point where repairs were necessary. The residents jointly agreed to fund the works and instructed the Henson Surfacing team to carry out the improvements.

Project Overview
The works involved scraping and levelling the length of the road to remove damaged areas and create a suitable base for resurfacing. Heavy plant and machinery were used to prepare the surface before installing a new tarmac finish along the road outside the residents’ homes.
The completed tarmac surface now provides a smooth, durable roadway that significantly improves access for vehicles and pedestrians alike.

Community-Funded Solution
By sharing the cost of the repairs, the residents were able to achieve a practical and effective outcome that benefits everyone who uses the road. The project demonstrates how collaborative investment can successfully resolve long-standing access issues where private or shared roads are involved.
